Bangle Size Calculator
Measure over your knuckles and estimate a rigid bangle size before you buy. This tool belongs to the Size & Measurement category and is built for hard bangles that need to pass over the hand instead of only fitting around the wrist.
If you are also shopping for flexible jewelry, compare the result with our Bracelet Size Calculator. If you are buying across categories, you can also check the Ring Size Calculator before returning to the bracelet designer.
Bangle Size Calculator
Measure around the widest part of your hand with the thumb tucked in, then choose how easily you want a rigid bangle to pass over the knuckles.
Reference-style sizing chart
The circle scales with the required bangle opening — as hand circumference grows, the rigid diameter must widen to clear the knuckles.

Step 1
Bring your thumb across your palm and measure over the widest knuckle with a soft measuring tape.
Step 2
Keep the tape firm but not tight — the bangle must pass over this point to reach your wrist.
Step 3
Choose the entry allowance that matches how snug or loose you want the bangle to feel.

Visual check
The circle represents the rigid opening that must pass over the knuckles. Larger diameter means easier entry but more movement once worn.
Regional label
Nearest notation: 2-8. Useful when shopping charts label bangles by regional diameter codes instead of XS–XL names.
How to read this bangle result
Rigid bangles do not open, so the target inner circumference must clear the knuckles rather than just match the wrist. The suggested diameter is the closest standard hard-bangle size for that entry path.
Standard entry balances comfort with a cleaner fit for most rigid bangle styles.

How this tool estimates rigid bangle size
The calculator starts with the circumference around the widest part of the hand, not the wrist. That is the real entry path for a hard bangle, because the bangle must slide over the knuckles before it can rest at the wrist.
After you choose a snug, standard, or easy entry preference, the tool adds a small allowance and matches the result to the nearest standard inner circumference and inner diameter used for rigid bangles.
Use a standard fit if you are not sure where to start. If your knuckles are prominent or the bangle is thick and unforgiving, an easier entry usually reduces the risk of ordering too small. The result also includes a nearest regional diameter notation so you can compare charts that do not use simple XS to XL labels.

FAQ
Bangle sizing questions
How do I measure for a rigid bangle?
Bring the thumb across the palm, then wrap a soft measuring tape around the widest part of the hand and knuckles. That loop is the entry size the bangle must pass over.
Why can a bangle size be different from my bracelet size?
Soft bracelets only need to fit around the wrist, but rigid bangles must first clear the widest part of the hand. That usually makes the required opening larger than a regular bracelet length measurement.
Should I choose a looser rigid bangle?
If your knuckles are broad or you want easier everyday entry, a slightly easier fit is usually safer. If you prefer less movement once it is on, a standard fit often balances entry and wearability better.
